My Practice Philosophy
In all of our lives, we experience the full range of emotions, from deep sorrow to wondrous joy. Often it is easy to overlook the joys and lose sight of the beauty and harmony around us. When life throws us a "curve ball" as it surely will, we can become overwhelmed and feel as if life is only a struggle. Our thoughts become negative and we then find ourselves out of balance, perhaps anxious or depressed. Often we do not enjoy our relationships and day after day seem to exist but without meaning and connection. Many times non-nurturing childhood experiences impact our lives in ways we may not be aware of. Psychotherapy can become a safe confidential environment to tell your story, to move through grief and pain and to collaborate with your therapist to identify and implement strategies that work for you!!!
